About the Machine
The Paper Reel to Sheet Cutting Machine from Micron Automech converts large reels of adhesive-coated or silicone-coated paper into precision-dimensioned sheets. The machine is widely used to produce gummed kraft tape sheets, surgical tape strips, label blanks, and specialty adhesive sheet products from roll stock. Sheet dimensions are programmable via PLC for quick format changes.

How the Machine Works
The machine comprises a motorised reel unwinder, web guide, guillotine or rotary cross-cutting unit, programmable sheet length counter, and a sheet stacker or conveyor delivery. Sheet length is set via encoder and PLC — no mechanical cam changes required.
