About the Machine
The Four Shaft Automatic Slicer from Micron Automech is the highest-productivity solution for cutting large log rolls of masking tape, PVC electrical insulation tape, foam tape, or double-sided tape into finished rolls. With four independent rewind shafts operating simultaneously, the machine delivers 4× the output per operator per shift compared to a single-shaft slicer.
MANUFACTURING PROCESS
How the Machine Works
The four shaft slicer positions a large log roll on the unwinding cradle, and simultaneously drives four rewind shafts. Circular blade or razor slitting cuts the web to the specified width, and all four shafts are auto-unloaded, wrapped, and reloaded in sequence — minimising manual intervention.
